SpotifyXAnimal: Ranbir Kapoor Takes A Jibe At Spotify’s Family Plan

Read Time:2 Minute, 1 Second

The cast and music team of the movie joined Spotify, the official streaming partner for “Animal,” on Friday night for a special fan event that included performances, a chat with Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor, and the album’s release.

The Musical Maestros

Stars from the movie, including B Praak, Raghav Chaitanya, Bhupinder Babbal, Vishal Mishra, and others, wowed the crowd with incredible renditions of their hits, including four previously unheard, unreleased songs: “Kashmir,” “Saleda,” “Papa Main Teri Dhadkan,” and “Pehle Bhi Main.”

My personal favourite from the album would be “Hua Main” which touched everyone’s heart. Moreover the song gave the audience relief from the Arijit Singh saturation.

Ranbir Takes Everyone Aback

In addition, Ranbir disclosed if he subscribes to Spotify Premium, saying, “I am on Alia’s family plan, mera free aajata hai (I get it for free).” All I’m saying is that she needs to submit her information each month. So, is this a Spotify issue or an issue with India? Ranbir responded, “Can I come on your family plan?” when Bobby stated, “I have the annual plan.” causing hysteria.

Ranbir And Bobby Deol Shake A Leg Together

He said, “Main aap logon ko ek baat bata du yeh gana 2013 mein release hua tha. Par main jahan bhi jata hu yeh gana mere peeche ata hai. Main abhi 41 years ka hu, mere se nai hota hai abhi yeh sab. Meri back toot jaati hai. Main sab event managers se aaj yeh keh raha hu please yeh gana mat bajwana. Koi slow gana bajwana. (I want to tell you all that this song was released in 2013. But wherever I go, this song follows me. I am currently 41 years old, and I can’t handle all this now. My back gets strained. I am telling all the event managers today, please don’t play this song. Play a slow song instead.)”

Concluding Remarks

All in all it was a fun event which also proved us the intelligent marketing tactics of Spotify. Animal is one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and by collaborating with the team Spotify only increased its reach to the public.
