Recently in Dubai, a total of 350 domestic top Indian apparel brands held an event called “Brands of India” to showcase their products. According to many, the response was great from the audience. Other than that, UAE is already the largest importer of different readymade Indian garments which totalls the import value to 1.21 billion US dollars in FY23.
According to the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), different retailers, wholesalers, departmental chains and e-commerce platforms showed interest in the exhibition.
Not only that but about 1500 importers and retailers from countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Somalia, Oman, Yemen, Ghana, Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Russia and Sudan pre registered for this event.
The exhibition was participated by different leading fashion brands of India from Mumbai, Kolkata, Surat, Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Chennai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Tirupur, Jaipur and Indore.
